Welcome to Golf Medal. By downloading, installing, or using the Golf Medal application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Golf Medal app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any applicable laws and regulations.
2. Description of Service
Golf Medal is a mobile application for recording and managing golf scores and medal play (e.g. medal-type scoring). You do not need to register or create an account to use the App. All score and game data is stored locally on your device only. We may update the App or these Terms from time to time; continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Use of the App
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Use the App to transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or any services the App relies on
4. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Golf Medal (or its licensors) and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without prior written permission.
5. Data and Local Storage
Data you enter in the App is stored on your device. You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, uninstallation, or other causes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Golf Medal and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the App or inability to use the App.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the last update. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
